The Job Anointing

Do you feel like the time that we are in will never end? When I think about Job in the bible how he experienced so much loss in his breaking and stripping season. I believe that God is dong the exact thing in our world today. He is stripping us of everything that we’ve known. Everything that we thought we knew how to do. Everything that we had setup in place; like church, our kids schooling, daycare, our jobs, and for some even the places they live.

Job 3:23-26 (NKJV) “Why is life given to a man whose way is hidden, whom God has hedged in? For sighing has become my daily food; my groans pour out like water. What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil.”

The world has been turned upside down to where some people just don’t know which way to go or how to cope in the world that we are living in today. But I honestly feel like we are going to get through this like Job did in the bible. We must submit to God’s will for us and the world. We have to pray like never before and seek God for answers on what to do and how to handle situations that we face. And we must have some level of patience because things are not going to happen overnight. We cannot continue living in fear.

We have to make an effort to trust God and his timing with the things that are going on and not what’s put out there on the news. If you seek God for yourself He will show you. Pray daily that God orders your steps and to keep you and your family safe. At times Job did question God but he never lost his faith. Even though Job had to endure some pain and suffering he was vindicated in the end. And that’s how God will show up for us today!

Job 13:15 (KJV) “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.”
